Q: As an Advertiser what will this cost me?

A: You have the opportunity to display your establishment’s photo and logo along with a brief run down on your Executive Chef & brigade.  Costs depend on which option you take up - please see the Advertisers section for a complete listing.

Q: Why can’t the job seekers send me an email in free text?

A: We have made it easier for you to contact jobseekers at a time that suits you.  Simply contact the job seeker through their preferred means at a time that is convenient to you.

Q: Do I get charged for enquiries or resume if I don’t employee job seekers?

A: Yes – this is a lead for the future or an economical way of obtaining a short list of candidates. Advertising and Agencies are a lot more expensive.  People that are interested in you and your property are making contact with you.

Q: Why should I use Chef Jobs?

A: Why not! With the different options on offer – you can affordably advertise your business.  Also you have the option of collecting all your resumes received on Chef Jobs in your login area on the website.

Q: Is it hard to upload my details as I don’t have time to waste?

A: No, it will take you approximately 10 -20 minutes to fill in the information required.  Most of the information and photo’s may already be available on your website.

Q: What is the difference between a banner ad and a property display?

A: A banner ad links directly to your website allowing job seekers to apply for positions and review your details on your own site.  A banner ad incurs a set monthly fee along with a fee per click.

By showcasing your details as a Property Display you are attracting job seekers to contact you through our site. This incurs a flat fee depending on the option you take up.

Q: Is this like an agency?

A: No, you communicate directly with the chef/property that you email.

Q: Why should I use Chef Jobs and not an agency?

A: You can use both but Chef Jobs has many more properties looking for chefs than an agency will and you liaise directly with the property or chef so no third party involved.

Q: Do I have to join?

A: No, this is not a membership.  Chef Jobs simply makes it easier - by putting you the job seeker directly in touch with a prospective employer.

Q: I can’t write what I want to when contacting the property – what can I do?

A: We have made it easier for you so you don’t have to continually write emails to prospective employers.  If you have a general question and don’t want to attach your resume simply select the Further Information option and the chef or a member of the properties team will make contact directly with you.
